If you grew up in the 90s, I'm glad to say that you had the best childhood ever! Those were the times we had dinner with our families while watching "Hum Paanch". And we happily ran to touch the feet of any relatives because it was a fixed gift of 2 rupees. Because life was not as complicated as it is today, with all the technology advancements.
Toys have a way of taking over.
You love your kids. You want to make them happy. But,The kids are bored; the house is a mess, and no one is happy instead of having toys full of room.
Sound familiar? You’re not alone. Most families have too many toys. But what many well-meaning parents don’t understand is (in reality),more toys equals less play.
Kids are easily overwhelmed with choice, and a child who is unsure of what to play with often ends up playing with nothing at all. But the problem is even more fundamental than that. Instead of playing with their toys, they expect to be entertain by their toys. And they are… for about five seconds. Then it’s back to the toy box, or on the floor.
So what i am noticing these days is- if you want your kids to play with toys- then accompany them, play with them- they feel more please while playing with you.
